Hospital management system · independent product, 2026

REDMARS

A bilingual Dari/English, right-to-left hospital system that runs on-premise, built with a Kabul hospital as design partner. Registration to pharmacy, on one server.

  • Allergy hard-blocks at prescribing (override needs a written reason), plus drug-interaction warnings.
  • Load-tested, fixed a connection-pool exhaustion, shipped in Docker behind HTTPS with nightly backups and a verified restore.

How I work

Self-employed since 2024: client work and my own products, from the first conversation to a running deployment.

  1. 01

    Start with the people

I work out how the job gets done today before I design anything. REDMARS grew with a Kabul hospital as design partner; Al-Raheel replaced an agency’s Excel process.

  2. 02

    Model the data first

A solid schema makes everything after it simpler. REDMARS runs on 47 PostgreSQL tables; Al-Raheel uses triggers and views for its complex queries.

  3. 03

Build the API and the interface

Typed APIs with interfaces made for the people using them: bilingual right-to-left screens, a desktop app, a 3D phone controller.

  4. 04

    Make it safe

Rules are enforced on the server, not just hidden in the UI: 6 roles and about 60 permissions, an audit trail, allergy hard-blocks at prescribing, hashed passwords and httpOnly sessions.

  5. 05

Ship it and keep it running

Load-tested with 40 concurrent patients, fixed a connection-pool exhaustion, then shipped in Docker containers behind HTTPS with nightly backups and a verified restore.

Alongside the work: B.Sc. Computer Engineering at Kardan University, expected April 2028.
